THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS

Role: Weasel Fred

Production Info: June 12-Aug. 7 @ Seaside Music Theater
Director/Choreographer: David Lee

The Wind in the Willows at Seaside Music Theater was my first professional theater job EVER! This musical adaptation of Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride played intermittently throughout the regular Seaside season. In this children’s theatre production, I played one of four crazy Weasels who try to take over Toad Hall. Lots of slapstick and physical comedy intermingled with themes of friendship and loyalty made this show a big hit with the kids. It’s funny how I can still remember the lyrics to the big weasel number . . . “It’s within our very nature . . . to be unruly, to misbehave!” Hmmm, sounds like a theme in my life!
