I had never seen a production of The Sound of Music before my summer at the Mac. I had no idea the show was THREE HOURS LONG! Due to the fact that my acting duties were limited to portraying Nazi 3 and the Bishop in the Wedding scene, I spent more time playing Uno backstage than performing during this one. No complaints, though! It was a very beautiful production — the kids were especially great — and I loved walking through the audience with the rest of the cast and singing the “Climb Every Mountain” finale.   Click on this link to read more information about the Mac-Haydn Theatre.
