SNOW WHITE
Role: Dopey
Production Info: Aug. 2-17, 1996 @ Mac-Haydn Theatre
Director: Louis B. Crocco
Music Director: Oliver BlattI dont remember much about this childrens theatre production of Snow White, except the fact that I was the tallest dwarf in the history of the American musical! I had a great time playing the ever-loveable, always-huggable Dopey . . . during the course of rehearsals, I developed a simple version of sign language that I used to communicate with the other dwarves. My favorite moment of the show was near the end, when Snow White came back to life after eating the poison apple! I remember crying my eyes out, signing I Love You!, I Love You!, I Love You! And who said childrens theatre wasnt powerful stuff???
