GREASE
Role: Roger
Production Info: July 11-21, 1996 @ Mac-Haydn Theatre
Director/Choreographer: Dennis Edenfield
Musical Director: Kep KaeppelerThis production of Grease was my first who knew that I'd eventually play almost every male role in the show? The whole cast had a blast with this production. By this point in the Mac season, we were all good friends, and I really think that camaraderie showed in our performances. Playing Roger was a surprise to me (the role is usually played by a larger actor), but it worked out great . . . a string bean like me next to a pleasantly plump Jan. We looked like a vaudeville couple right from the get-go! It wasn't the most lavish production of Grease, but it had a lot of heart. And I think the audiences really enjoyed watching US enjoy ourselves!
