When I found out that Inside Broadway would be presenting Charlie Brown at schools across the five boroughs of NYC to introduce kids to the magic of live theatre, I jumped at the opportunity to audition. How could I pass up a chance to introduce the world’s most famous canine-companion to thousands of eager kids?? Early mornings and long bus-rides were the norm during the run of our high-sprited 60-minute version of the show, but every lost hour of sleep was definitely justified by the enthusiastic cheers that greeted our Peanuts gang! As an added bonus, New Yorkers who were young-at-heart (but not young enough to catch the show during our two-month tour) were able to catch the show at the Lucille Lortel Theatre for a limited Off-Broadway run. | ||
