BABES IN TOYLAND

Role: Roderigo

Production Info: October 27, 2001 @ Avery Fisher, Lincoln Center
Conductor: Dino Anagnost
Director: Peter Flynn
Choreographer: Devanand Janki

It was so much fun to be involved with the 1999 production of Babes in Toyland that I jumped at the chance to join the 2001 remounting of the show. This time around I played the role of Roderigo, the brainier of Mr. Barnaby’s two evil henchmen. I never get to be a bad guy, so I relished the opportunity! I still got the same rush of excitement as I walked through Lincoln Center Plaza on the way to the stage door, even if I only got to do it for one day! Along with the two regular performances of the show, the cast, crew and musicians volunteered their time to perform the show a third time for families affected by the tragedy on September 11th.
